Baby Shaun

Shaun @ 1 mth old

Shaun turn 1 mth old on 12/12/08(Friday). He's still drinking every 2 hrs interval even in the night. He's not like his 2 older sister (Shannon & Nicole), the both of them could sleep thru out after they are 1 mth old. Had his head shave Botak at nearby market (Sembawang Mart).

Shaun's Full Month Celebration

Time really files. We celebrated Shaun's full month on 08/12/08(Monday) cause its a public holiday (hari raya haji). We had lunch at Imperial Garden Restaurant (At Yishun Safra) with relatives. Soo Kiang ordered 80 hainanese kueh Yi-Bua 薏粑 from Toa Payoh (http://www.sbestfood.com/hainanxiaochi.htm)and confinement aunty cooked 30red eggs.
We packed 2 kuehs and 2 eggs in abox to give relatives. Did not take any photos at the restaurant. We had 9 course lunch. My parents, Clinton, Terrence, Dennise & Geordan were there too. I ordered some cakes from Le Precious(http://www.leprecious.com.sg/precious_package.html) for friends and relatives that did not join us for the celebration.

School Holidays

Shannon started school holidays on 12/11/08, the day I delivered Shaun. That day was oso Parent Teacher Meeting at Canberra primary. Soo Leang attended it. We were given time at 11.25am. Soo Leang rushed back from Mt Alvernia Hospital.

Shannon's results was taken from her past results. I don't know how teacher calculated. Her overall result, - for English 79, Chinese 91 and Maths 93, Percentage 87.7 and level position 59/300.

Nov 17, we received a notification on Edusave Merit Bursary for $150. But because our household income is above $4000, so we cant apply. We will keep the letter in the file for keepsake.

Shannon very bored at home. With me doing confinement, she cant go out. But lucky aunty Lily brought her and Xinyi for a drama "Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs"on 6th Dec. Shannon enjoyed the show. Thanks Aunty Lily and Xinyi!

12th Nov 2008

Woke up at 5am. Took a bath. Did not sleep whole night, very excited. Woke Soo Leang up at 5.15am. He went fetched his sister Soo Kiang to our place. She came over to take care of Shannon & Nicole as they were still sleeping.

Left home around 6am for Mount Alvernia Hospital. We were late. Suppose to be in hospital at 6am. Reached hospital at 6.30am. Everybody were waiting for us. I was brought to the rm 322A. Change to hospital clothes & clear bowels. And wheeled to the operation theatre. My gynae Dr Lawrence Ang was waiting for me. I was awake during the operations. Its numb from my waist down. Baby Shaun was born at 0752hrs. Can hear him crying.

Nicole's Birthday Celebration

Nicole celebrated her 3 yr old birthday in school (my Little Campus).

Morning was at KKH with Shannon. Doctor gave green light to go home. So happy. Soo Leang Came at 1pm to fetch us. Reached home at 2.30pm. Prepare the goody bags for nicole's friends. Went Little Campus at 3.30pm. Nicole was very happy. She was so quite in school, so different from home. The kids enjoyed the cakes.

Shannon was admitted at KKH on 25th oct. She had high fever(41Degrees). I stayed with her at hospital. Soo Leang took leave and take care of Nicole. Fever was up & down in hospital. So worried for her. Finally fever subside on 29oct. Doc agreed to let her home on 30th Oct, in time to celebrate Nicole's Birthday. She was so so happy finally can go home.

Shannon SA2 started on 27oct, so she missed it. Her form teacher (mdm Sohrah) told me they will take her pass results for the report book.

Canberra Primary School Olympics

1st August 2008 (friday)

Today Canberra Primary School organised Mini oylmpics games. Started at 4.30pm. Soo Kiang went together to support Shannon. Very hot weather. Shannon did not get any prize.

Its been so long....

I've not updated for quite some time. Hmm lets see......

dated back to March

March 17, tested positive. so happy. Maybe ard 3 to 4 wks preggy. Make appointment on 7th April to see Dr Lawrence Ang.

April 16th, Shannon received her Model student badge and certificate. I'm happy for her. Shannon started her SA1 on 22nd April and end on 7th may.

May 15th, Lucky Soo Leang's office is closed. Went TMC for osccar test at 2pm. Received a call from Dr Ang, result for osccar no good. He advise me to do Amnio test.

May 21st, Shannon school meet the parents session at 11.15am. After that we went Causeway Point for japanese lunch. Last day of school 23may. 1 month holiday.

June 25th, had my amnio test at TMC by Dr Ang. We were there at ar 8.30am. Soo Kiang came over to take care of Shannon. Finished ard 10am. Went home rest. Got to rest at home for 2days. Soo Leang n 2 days leave. Now got to wait for results, available in 2wks time.

July 7th, Youth Day holiday. Shannon & Nicole no school. Soo Kiang came over to take care of them. I went for normal check up at Dr Ang at 2pm. Got my Amnio test, all ok. We are expecting a boy. I'm so happy all ok. Thank god! My EDD is 25th nov.

Happy New Year 2008

So fast. Its New Year 2008. 1 month sch holidays for shannon passes so fast. Nicole started her new sch at My Little Campus on 10dec'07. She's ok there. I'm glad she is fine there.

Spend time with Shannon. Went Xmas shopping. Bought presents for everyone ;- Dad, Mum, Terrence, Denise, Clinton, Dominique, Geordan, Clive, Yan Ni, Kouske, Shinske, Iris's kids, Uncle Seng's son and Ivy's daughter. Met up with Annie and Clive, Bee Suan & Yan Ni.

Christmas Eve went my Brother's (Terrence) house for supper. Reached home ard 1.30am. Uncle Seng, his wife and son reached Singapore.
Christmas Day, went dinner at my parents house. Annie, Her hubby and Clive join us there too. Irene, Ivan, Ivy, her hubby, her daughter came too.

And 1 wk later its new year. Welcome 2008. Shannon started school on 2jan'08. She's in the afternoon class. Her class is CARE 10. She's excited. My Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law came over to send her to school. Got to be in school by 1.45pm. School starts late on every Wednesday. Recess at 3pm, but gate was locked.
